Kevin Hammer, DPM

Dr. Kevin Hammer is a skilled and compassionate foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to helping patients restore mobility and live pain-free lives. Born and raised in Bloomdale, Ohio, Dr. Hammer’s early experiences instilled in him a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. He graduated from Elmwood High School and continued his education at Bowling Green State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, laying a strong foundation for his medical career.

Dr. Hammer pursued his professional education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, earning his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 2020. He then completed an intensive three-year residency at Western Reserve Hospital, gaining advanced training in surgical and conservative treatments for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Hammer is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), reflecting his dedication to staying at the forefront of podiatric care.

As a comprehensive foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Hammer is passionate about addressing a variety of conditions, including fractures, arthritis, bunions, hammertoes, and complex wounds. He specializes in both conservative and surgical treatments, tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of each patient. Whether treating common ailments or managing more complex cases, Dr. Hammer is committed to providing exceptional care and achieving the best possible outcomes.

When he’s not working with patients, Dr. Hammer enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, creating meaningful family memories. An avid outdoorsman, he finds relaxation in fishing and cheering on Cleveland sports teams.
